To trust is to put confidence in something/someone. In order to put confidence in anything/one you have to know what it's capable of. If you don't know from experience what something/someone is capable of then you cannot trust. You can have faith, but not trust. Sometimes faith can cause someone/thing to go beyond its normal limits due to the natural power of thought energy. Then one grows to trust in that reality. However this requires a lot of power/energy from the one having faith and/or creating the outcome if the object of ones faith does not have the substance on its own worthy to uphold the standard given to it. Therefore when faith is lost, the trust that was built as a result is also lost because it was not based in truth but rather the power of ones own imagination. Therefore, it is better to know than to have faith. Having faith in that which you know not, is choosing to be disillusioned. Rather, have faith in that which you KNOW that you can trust (place your confidence in) so that you are abiding in truth. Trust is built over time. Anyone desiring or claiming different is not abiding in truth. Protect your heart from lies and deception. Build on solid foundation not the beach sand as lovely as the idea may seem.
